A 23 year old Ephrata woman was life flighted to Kadlec Medical Center after her vehicle rolled several times Saturday morning on State Route 17, 10 miles south of Moses Lake.

State Patrol responded at 11:48 a.m. after a 2010 Dodge Charger, driven by Natalie Hussey, left the roadway to the right, overcorrected and rolled over before blocking the northbound lane at milepost 41. The vehicle came to rest in the roadway on the driver's side of the vehicle.

"She was trapped in the vehicle for a bit of a time before aid and fire came on scene to extricate her," said Trooper John Bryant. "Prior to that we got word that citizens had stopped and were trying to roll the car back over to get her out. I highly don't recommend that."

The trooper on scene was approved a warrant by a judge to extract blood from the driver. There is a pending DUI charge, based on the results.
