East Wenatchee Man Facing Hit and Run Charges

A 26-year-old East Wenatchee man is facing charges of felony hit and run and misdemeanor hit and run over the center line after a late night crash on Highway 28B. Nilton Cruz was driving his Dodge Ram pickup last night when he crossed the center line striking the one of the trailers being towed by a semi-truck, bouncing off and then hitting a car head on. The driver of the car was transported to Confluence Health. The Washington State Patrol is investigating further. The accident closed SR 28B for several hours last night.
