East Wenatchee One of Top 20 Safest Cities in Washington

East Wenatchee was named the 18th safest city in the state by the independent review site Safewise.

Violent and property crime rates have dropped in the city each of the past three years, despite rising in many parts of the state.

The website says they used crime stats and compared that to population numbers to highlight cities with low crime rates.

Wenatchee came in at 40th on their list.

The safest city in Washington, according to Safewise, is Snoqualmie. Of the cities that were ranked, Tukwila was named the least safe.
