Eastmont High School Receives $10,000 in Grant Funding for Technology Purchases

Eastmont School District shared that Eastmont High School was awarded a $10,000 grant from Next Generation Personal Finance. CTE Business teacher Mark Bloom, uses curriculum from the organization NGPF and spearheaded the effort for EHS to receive the grant.

"The organization has a Gold Standard award that they give and its for school districts and high schools that have placed Financial Literacy as part of their graduation requirements," said Jim Schmutzler, CTE director.

Bloom researched and applied through the process. The grant money purchase technology to enhance the Financial Literacy course at EHS.
