“Encore Challenge” Helping Grow Endowment at Wenatchee Valley College

The Concerts at the Campus series, which raises money for an endowment at Wenatchee Valley College and for the Foundation has multiple ways to donate.

Producer and Promoter Robert Sandidge says they've been able to grow the fundraising aspect with what he calls the "Encore Challenge."

"In previous years we've actually had them say if they play another song we'll give another $1,000 and it will go directly into the endowment, we wouldn't touch it at all. It's been gathering steam especially this year."

Supporter Rex Bratton stepped up to the challenge recently noting how important WVC was to him.

"If Wenatchee Valley College wasn't here when I needed a junior college to go to, I wouldn't have been able to keep the job I had, wouldn't be able to get the first two years of college out of the way and then transfer to a four-year university and get my degree which is in accounting and business."

The next show is Thursday night with a tribute band to Styx.
