The Flywheel Investment Conference is accepting applications until March 12 from startup companies based in Washington State interested in competing for funding.

The investment award is funded by the Flywheel Angel Network, a group of investors with the goal to support economic development in North Central Washington. Six finalists from the applicant pool will be selected to compete live at the conference.

"This year they're offering over $150,000 as a minimum investment award," said Jenny Rojanasthien, executive director.

Along with the investment award, the audience will have a chance to engage to select one finalist as audience favorite. This startup will be awarded a $5,000 cash prize.

The annual conference, May 20, is set to be hybrid with in person attendance based on current COVID restrictions.

"What you can expect is incredible startups competing head to head for this investment award, some great keynote speakers and panels and just another fun day the Flywheel Conference," said Rojanasthien.
