If you spotted smoke on the Okanogan-Wenatchee National forest yesterday, it was likely from four prescribed burns conducted Monday.

The Forest Service burned eight acres north of Fish Lake, 378 acres northwest of Ardenvoir, 28 acres northwest of Conconully and some woody debris piles in the South Cle Elum Ridge area.

Due to  high winds forecast for today, there are no plans for prescribed burns.
