A GoFundMe page and donation account have been set up for the Okanogan County firefighter who was burned fighting the Spring Coulee Fire Sunday.

Assistant Chief Christian Johnson suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns over more than half his body and is currently in a medically-induced coma at Harborview Medical Center.

He is expected to be in ICU for 2-3 months after he is stable enough for skin graft surgery.

Johnson is a 20-year volunteer with Okanogan Fire Department after serving in the Army and National Guard.

If you'd like to donate to his recovery, you can do so at North Cascades Bank in Okanogan, or by going to the GoFundMe page.
