Grant PUD & Columbia Basin Foundation Pay It Forward

Grant PUD and Columbia Basin Foundation have used the Pay It Forward grants to contribute a total of $11,000 to eight Grant County food banks. The demand for food bank services has significantly increased due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The food banks that received grant funding were located in Coulee City, Grand Coulee, Ephrata, Mattawa, Moses Lake/Warden, Quincy, Royal City and Soap Lake. Pay It Forward grant funding runs on donations by Grant PUD's industrial customers who deferred conservation rebate payments to support programs supported by the Columbia Basin Foundation.
