GWATA, Greater Wenatchee Area Technology Alliance, will have been in the region for 20 years in 2020 and is hosting a 2020 Kick-Off Party to celebrate. The party is on January 9 from 5:30-7:30 at the Mercantile, located on N. Wenatchee Avenue.

"This is our kick off event for inviting the community in to learn about all the innovations that have been happening in our region for the past 20 years," said Becca Freimuth, communications manager.

The non-profit will use the event as a platform to both highlight the growth of GWATA, but also networking and celebrating their partners and supporters.

"For non-members, this is a great event to come connect with our members, connect with our board and learn about how GWATA has been involved with being a champion and a supporter of all of these technology innovations that have happened," said Freimuth.

Currently, GWATA is running an early bird pricing special until December 31st. Promo code SAVE5 will knock $5 off ticket price, so members can get tickets for $10 and the public can get tickets for $25. Regular ticket price is $15 for members and $30 for the public.
