Grant County Coroner Craig Morrison announced the results of the autopsy on daredevil and Ephrata native Alex Harvill Friday.

Sheriff's Office PIO Kyle Foreman said Harvill, who was killed during a practice jump of 150 feet on his motorcycle Thursday morning, died of blunt force trauma to his torso and the manner of death was accidental.

"The Coroner's Office and the Grant County Sheriff's Office both extend their condolences to the Harvill family, his friends and his loved ones." stated Foreman, "It was a terrible tragedy witnessed by many and we wish everyone peace and healing."

Harvill was set to attempt a world-record jump of 351 feet Thursday evening at the Moses Lake Airshow.

A GoFundMe account has been set up for Harvill's wife and two young children.
