Heroin Seizure In Bridgeport

Douglas and Chelan County SWAT teams seized heroin after serving a search warrant in the 1800 block of Fairview in Bridgeport. Douglas County Sheriff Harvey Gjesdal said the operation, last Wednesday afternoon was considered high risk and residents may have noticed armored cars or heard diversionary devices used by the SWAT teams during the raid. Several roads were blocked to provide security at the scene. Detectives from the NCW Drug Task Force located approximately 4 ounces of heroin in the raid. No one was arrested, but charges are pending.
