The number of homes sold and the median price both rose in the Wenatchee area for the month of September according to the most recent numbers from Pacific Appraisal Associates.

Sales were up 18% compared to one year ago while prices were up 6% to $365,000.

The numbers were also good in the Cashmere and Leavenworth areas were 3rd quarter sales were up 8% and average price was up 25% in the Bavarian town.

In Cashmere sales were up 17% and average price rose 20%.

All three areas saw declines in numbers of homes for sale.
