Jumping Out the Door

A Quincy man's injured when he exited a vehicle while it was in motion.

The incident happened around 4 p.m. Sunday, one and a half miles west of Ephrata.

A vehicle driven by a 24-year old Ellensburg woman was travelling along eastbound 28 after stopping at the intersection with state hiway 283.

The passenger, 30-year old Jonathan Rubio, got out of the car as it was still moving.

He was airlifted to Wenatchee's Confluence Health.

Authorities are investigating the incident.
