Kittitas County Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Work Site Thieves

Kittitas County Sheriff's Deputies arrested two Puyallup men along Highway 97 after a theft at a construction site.

Deputies were dispatched Wednesday after a foreman called Kittcom noting there was a man running from his work site and that he was missing tools. While en route to the scene, law enforcement saw a car driving erratically and pulled them over.

The passenger of the vehicle matched the description of the suspect as provided by the foreman.

During a search of the car, the missing tools were discovered.

The driver, 29-year-old Devon Drake-Karhu and 32-year-old Christopher Damitz were placed into custody.
