Law Enforcement Honored for Work Keeping Streets Safe in 2019

The annual Traffic Safety awards distributed Friday night to law enforcement personnel who help keep the roads safe.

For the Washington State Patrol, Trooper Jeffrey Eifert was named top cop in fighting DUIs while Trooper Phil Riney was honored for his proactive traffic work.

For the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Nick English won the Traffic Safety Top DUI & Top Traffic Enforcement awards.

Deputy Key of the Chelan County Sheriff's Office notched the most DUI arrests and Deputy Lewis was honored for his overall traffic enforcement.
