Law Versus Fire in Upcoming Donkey Basketball Fundraiser

Wenatchee's FFA and FBLA clubs will be hosting their annual Donkey Basketball fundraiser March 9th at 7:00 pm at the high school.

Wenatchee High School FFA president Kody Richards said staff from Pioneer Middle School will square off against staff from a local elementary in the first game, followed by a game between the FFA vs FLBA next before the main event, police vs fire.

"In the past couple of years we decided that we want to keep all the funds local to directly benefit people in our community." Richards explained, "So last year we benefited the Hospitality House in helping them get a new roof. This year we decided we want to help support Women's Resource Center of NCW."

The women's resource center of NCW's plan is to use the funds raised to provide school clothes for kids living in the Bruce Hotel.
