Normally you get a baseball card for being a star athlete, or if your parents are supporting the local little league team.

One Wenatchee resident will be featured in a special set alongside Ken Griffey Jr., Macklemore, Russell Wilson and many others but not for any professional sports achievement.

Makenna Schwab is one of three Seattle Children's ambassadors that are part of a 25-card set that are part of a fundraiser for the hospital.

Schwab has been an inspiration locally, regionally and nationally by creating the Makspire Foundation while overcoming a rare disease called Larsen Syndrome.

The set came about when a Seattle Children's director, Jake Gustafson, approached the Topps Company about making the cards.

They agreed and secured 22 professional athletes, current and past, musicians, actors and more to be part of the set.

These are for sale exclusively at Bartell Drugs for $25/box and you get all 25 cards, plus one randomly inserted autograph from one of the 25 Heroes.

There were a little under 11,000 sets created which will raise $265,000 for Seattle Children's.
