A man shot by a homeowner in Moses Lake after reportedly breaking into her home in September now faces three felony charges.

KPQ news partner i FIBER ONE reports 28-year-old Eric Fuentes is accused of fleeing from police in a stolen SUV, and then breaking into a home.

Police had stopped chasing Fuentes when he sped off at more than 90 mph, but later located the stolen SUV.

Shortly afterward, a 9-1-1 caller said she shot an intruder, who was later identified as Fuentes.

i FIBER ONE reports Fuentes continued out of the home's front door after being shot, and was met by officers.

He was taken to Samaritan Hospital for his injuries, and later booked into the Grant County Jail.

Fuentes is charged in Grant County Superior Court with residential burglary, possession of a stolen vehicle and felony eluding in connection to his Sept. 12 arrest.

He is also charged with failing to register as a kidnapping offender in a separate case.
