Milepost 22 Fire 5 PM Update: 30 Percent Contained

Washington Department of Natural Resources says the Milepost 22 fire is now 30 percent contained with an estimated size around 5,000 acres. The blaze began Wednesday night near the Vantage Highway. Level 2 Evacuation Orders are still in place for area residents.
