Miracle on Main Street, a seasonal tradition in Ephrata, is returning for the 14th year with some new tweaks and features. The festivities are this Saturday and start at 8 and begin to wrap up with the lighted parade at 5.

"This has been going on for 14 years, it's just been a fun event. It's evolved into certain aspects," said Rita Witte, chamber president and director. "One of the things is the city of Ephrata has added and partnered with us, is 'Breakfast with Santa.'"

This feature will be stationed at the ERC building from 8-10:30. Registration, $4 per person, is available online and at the door. Parents can snap photos of the kids with Santa for free and the $4 will cover the dishes such as scrambled eggs and bacon.

The Jingle Bell fun run (at 3 p.m.), Christmas bingo at Pita Pit (1-2:30) and Storytime at the Ephrata Public Library (11:30-1:30) are other events the community can participate in on Saturday.

"At 5, we have our lighted parade. Tractors, trucks, anything you got is welcome to come into the parade," said Witte.

Interested participants can go on ephratachamber.org and email the registration form and waiver to ephratawachamber@gmail.com.
