Missing 21 Year Old Hiker Found Uninjured After Two Day Search

A 21 year old woman was found Monday after being reported missing on Saturday evening from Hidden Meadows Camp on the east side of North Cascades National Park. The woman was found uninjured about half mile from camp. Members of her hiking party reached out for assistance Saturday night and inclement weather prohibited air operations for the first 36 hours.

Sunday evening all likely trails had been searched by ground personnel and additional resources, including 75 personnel and 4 helicopters were planned for Monday. However, she was located 11 a.m. Monday by ground personnel.

Chelan County Sheriff's Office and Okanogan County Search and Rescue were among the assistance of over a dozen agencies searching for the girl.
