Lighthouse Ministries saw a surge in folks needing assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Local ski resort, Mission Ridge, stepped up to lend a hand to Lighthouse Ministries for the uptick in needs.

"I saw Josh (Jorgensen, Mission Ridge general manager) downtown one day as soon as the 'Stay at Home' orders had activated and he just said 'hey is there anything I can do to help?'," said Shawn Arington, executive director. "Next thing I knew, there was a team of people from Mission Ridge showing up once a week."

The Mission Ridge team is picking up food, preparing food boxes and delivering the food boxes door to door for Lighthouse Ministries.

"We've had a long term relationship with Lighthouse," said Jorgensen. "Getting out there and delivering food in these neighborhoods and these folks in needs, it's been eye opening for us."
