Moses Lake Girl Dies in Car Accident in California

A Moses Lake girl passed away Sunday after a rollover accident outside of Bakersfield, California.

According to our news partner iFIBER ONE, 7-year-old Mireya Indica Anguiano died at the scene after being ejected from the vehicle she was in just after 11:00 pm near Edwards Air Force Base.

The California Highway Patrol said 35-year-old Wendy Garcia was driving the vehicle, which had five children in the car. All of the kids were not wearing their seatbelts, and four of the five were ejected from the vehicle. The oldest child was 12-years-old, with Anguiano the youngest.

Everyone involved in the wreck was injured and one child remains in critical condition. The cause is under investigation.
