The Grant County Sheriff's Office announced Monday that a Moses Lake man is facing two counts of second degree murder after the shooting deaths of two men Saturday.

PIO Kyle Foreman says 40-year-old Noe Pena is alleged to have shot 52-year-old Epitacio Martinez-Molina and his brother, 37-year-old Moises Martinez-Molina inside the garage of a home in the 8000 block of Road 18 Northeast, north of Moses Lake. Pena was later found by deputies walking on Road 18 Northeast with a gun in his hand and was eventually detained for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

"We don't believe this was gang related." explained Foreman, "It appears to be a disagreement between Pena and the Martinez-Molina brothers."

Pena was arraigned Monday afternoon and his bail has been set at $3 million. Evidence including shell casings and the firearm used in the killings have been seized and sent to the state crime lab for analysis.
