The Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest says people can still access the many great recreational opportunities, but that they should practice social distancing while out.

Public Affairs Officer Robin DeMario says there is also limited services available.

"If you do plan to recreate in the National Forest, be aware there are no garbage services this time of year and most restrooms and outhouses are closed and not cleaned on a regular schedule until they open in the spring."

Also, there will be screening taking place if you wish to enter a ranger station to help stop the spread of coronavirus.
