GWATA and the Apple STEM Network have announced a change of plans for their NCW Tech & STEM showcase planned for May.

The showcase is an annual event that features projects made by students from any of 29 regional school districts. It was originally scheduled for May 15th at the Quincy Public Market and May 16th at Pybus Public Market.

Executive Director Jenny Rojanasthien said that in lieu of a public gathering, the 2020 NCW STEM Showcase will go virtual and take place over the next eight weeks.

Beginning April 6th, a new STEM Challenge will be issued on the Apple STEM network website each Monday for students. Every week there will be a different local celebrity guest judge that will choose that week's winner.

Each week's winner will receive a $100 visa gift card and their project will be promoted on social media.

Students are encouraged to go to the Apple STEM Network's website and fill out the form.
