No Injuries in Drive-By Shooting Friday Night in Larson/North Moses Lake Area

From the Grant County Sheriff’s Office: An eight-year-old child escaped injury during a drive-by shooting in Larson/North Moses Lake last night.

Deputies around 9 p.m. answered the shots fired call at the 800 block of Cannon Lane. Several shots had been fired and struck a home. Deputies were also advised that a green late 90s Honda passenger car with shaded windows and black rims was seen fleeing the area. Deputies and Moses Lake police responded but did not find the Honda.

An eight-year-old child inside the home was struck by debris caused by the gunfire but they did not sustain any injuries.

Evidence has been collected and will be sent to the crime lab for analysis. Deputies will review Larson community surveillance cameras for additional evidence.
