One Dead After Monday Crash North of East Wenatchee

One person is dead after a two car accident on U.S. 2 about seven miles north of East Wenatchee Monday morning.

Trooper John Bryant says the collision happened just before 9:40 am near US 2's intersection with Turtle Rock Road.

"En route the troopers were advised that three were entrapped and one subject was unconscious." explained Bryant, "There was also one being administered CPR."

One unidentified individual passed away at the scene. The extent of other injuries from the accident is currently unknown, as is the cause.

The eastbound lane was blocked for over two hours, but the roadway is fully open now.
