About 700 commercial and residential customers lost power after 1 am in an area from Miller Street east to South Columbia Street between 5th and 1st streets.

Residents were without power for several hours.

Chelan PUD says crews were still working to restore about 130 commercial customers as of 6 am Monday. The PUD said it would provide another update when they know more.
