Quincy Chamber Of Commerce Kicks Off Summer Fun With Block Parties

The Quincy Chamber of Commerce is hosting their 2nd annual B Street Block Party series this summer. Beginning June 16, 2022, Microsoft will sponsor the Quincy Chamber of Commerce: 'Kick Off the B Street Block Party Season-Business After Hours' event with food, breweries, and live entertainment.

Quincy Chamber of Commerce Director Cari Mathews says that block parties promote good old fashioned fun, and unifies the community. "The block parties bring the community together, having something fun and inviting in the Quincy Valley community-Cities too-We've gotten a lot of people from outside of Quincy who have attended."

Mathews says last year's event had great attendance, and was well received. "The first year we did it we had over 1,000 people Friday night, and the next Saturday, we had over 1,000 people too."
