Quincy Police Respond to Suspicious Package Near Church

Quincy Police Officers responded to a suspicious package found outside of a church in the 1100 block of 2nd Ave SE Monday morning around 8:17 a.m.

The package, a brown suitcase, was seen abandoned near a parking lot. It was determined this was not an explosive device and the suitcase was logged into the evidence room for safe keeping.
