The Washington State Department of Transportation is advising drivers of upcoming delays on Interstate 90 this summer and fall during construction season.

There are seven major construction projects planned along a 75 mile stretch between Ellensburg and North Bend, that includes Snoqualmie Pass.

WSDOT says most of the work will be done Mondays through Thursdays, with one-hour full closures for rock blasting in August and September.

There'll also be deck repairs on five bridges, as well as roadway rebuilds and the addition of lanes.

Another major project in the region will be the replacement of all the bridge decks on the I-90 bridge at Vantage., which will be completed over the course of two construction seasons in 2022 and 2023.
