Six Cars and Trucks Involved in Thursday Evening Moses Lake Crash

Two people have minor injuries from a six-vehicle crash Thursday evening on State Route 17 at Wheeler Road in Moses Lake.

Troopers say a commercial truck with a trailer driven by 36-year-old Mario Uribe failed to stop at a red light while traveling northbound on SR 17.

Uribe's truck hit a car traveling through the intersection westbound on Wheeler Road, which triggered contact involving four other cars and trucks.

Five of the six vehicles involved in the crash were totaled, while two people have minor injuries.

Uribe was given a ticket for failing to stop at a red light. It's not known if alcohol or drugs were involved with any of the six drivers involved in the crash.
