Soap Lake Man Arrested After Theft at Del Red Pub

Grant County Sheriff's Deputies and Soap Lake Police officers arrested 26-year-old Austin Rogers on burglary charges after a theft at Del Red Pub.

The report first came in from both a concerned citizen who saw Rogers leaving boxes of frozen meat in an alleyway, and the Del Red Pub who reported the theft.

When law enforcement spoke with Rogers at his apartment, he denied wrongdoing and refused to let them in.

His mother, who also lives in the apartment, spoke privately with her son and then produced one of the packages of stolen frozen meat.

Rogers was arrested without incident after that.
