Soap Lake Police Department Raising Remaining Funds for K9 Unit

Soap Lake Police have announced an online donation option for anyone who wants to help them finish paying for the new K9 officer, Billy.

According to a Facebook post, the department has about a month to raise the rest of the money, which is less than $5-thousand.

The Department paid a deposit to get Billy into the area just before the COVID-19 pandemic shut off that option.

Billy will head to training with Sgt. Spencer Nulph in just over a month.
