The 7th Annual Wenatchee Valley Sportsmen Show attracted outdoor enthusiasts indoors this weekend to the Town Toyota Center. The show features about 100 exhibitors ranging from hunting and fishing guide services, boat and ATV dealers, to public information from agencies like the Washington Department of Fish and WIldlife and Sheriff''s Departments.

Vendor displays cover outdoor cooking, camping, personal safety and a free kids fishing pool hosted by the Wenatchee Sportsmen's Association.

Club Secretary Dan Dickerson said his group sponsors several free fishing events and habitat conservation projects throughout the year. (The Wenatchee Sportsmen's Association does not produce the show, although the name is similar)

The group is getting ready to host it's 55th Annual Wild Game Feed on Saturday, Feb. 29th at St. Joseph's Church in Wenatchee. Proceeds help support projects like the purchase of public land at the Peshastin Mill Site, animal fencing along highway 97-A and replanting fire damaged areas.

Tickets for the WIld Game Feed are available at Hooked On Toys or Sportsman's Warehouse until the cutoff date, likely by Tuesday next week. Tickets are also available on line http://wsassoc.org/
