From a press release - On 08/07/17 at approximately 9:00 AM Douglas County Deputies responded to an assault call in Orondo.  A Deputy located  the suspect in a fruit warehouse.  He fled as the Deputy attempted to talk to him and ran into a nearby house.  Another Deputy attempted speak to the suspect through a window.  The suspect put his fist through the window and sprayed the Deputy with shards of glass.  He then went to a door and kicked it hard enough that it broke the door frame.  Deputies de-escalated the suspect and he finally came out.  He was arrested for malicious mischief.  The victim of the assault was not injured and declined to cooperate with charging.  The Deputy was treated for minor injuries to his face.
