Sweetwood BBQ Offers to Feed Community for Free on Memorial Day

Sweetwood BBQ and The Dilly Deli are following in Garlinis footsteps and donating 1000 meals on Memorial Day while inviting the community to donate to Serve Wenatchee Valley. Sweetwood BBQ sandwiches, ultimate chocolate chip cookies from The Dilly Deli, drinks, and a bag of chips will be distributed at Town Toyota Center.

"Garlinis set an example of what a restaurant can do to help with their feed 1000 event last week and we're going to take the torch this upcoming Monday," said Benj Dew, owner. "The meals will be free, but if you want to donate, Serve Wenatchee Valley will be taking donations to continue to help the families in the Valley."

A contactless drive thru will be set up and meals will be distributed at 4 p.m. until meals run out.
