Teen Arrested After The 13 Year Old Pulled A Knife During An Argument

East Wenatchee police arrested a 13 year old male suspect after responding to a disturbance at the pump track at Eastmont Community Park Sunday afternoon. A video captured the suspect pulling a knife from his pocket, holding it toward the eleven year old victim within two feet of the victim's face.

According to Chief Rick Johnson, there was a short foot pursuit when the suspects ran from the park and officers caught up to the juveniles in the area of Eastmont High School. The suspects were detained while an investigation occurred.

"Some witnesses had taken a cell phone video of the incident, both what led up to it and the actual incident," said Chief Johnson.

The 13 year old suspect was arrested and transported to Chelan County Juvenile Detention where he was booked for 2nd degree assault.
