Two drivers were transported to Samaritan Hospital Friday night after a head on collision on state Route 17. Our news partner, iFiberone, reports that Joey Flores, a 29 year old Moses Lake resident, was heading south on SR 17 a little before midnight when he allegedly crossed the center line and collided with a 2020 Freightliner semi-truck going northbound. Flores was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and Washington State Troopers reported Flores was impaired. According to troopers, the semi-truck driver and Walla Walla resident attempted to slow down to avoid the collision. The collision occurred about 11 miles south of Moses Lake.0.
