The unemployment rates in North Central Washington were all higher for the month of February than January according to data released by the Employment Security Department.

Chelan County saw the biggest increase from 6.9% to 7.2%.

Douglas County saw a small increase to 7.3%, with Grant County up to 8.1% and Okanogan County now 8.4%.

All four were in contrast to the state's unemployment rate which dropped to 5.6%.
