Washington State has the 5th-most COVID-19 restrictions in the nation according to a study by personal finance website WalletHub.

All 50 states were compared across 14 key metrics, and data ranged from whether restaurants are open to whether the state has required face masks in public and workplace temperature screenings. Washington was found to have the 2nd-most restrictions in terms of restaurants and bars and the 3rd-most for large gatherings. The Evergreen State's least restrictive category was state guidance on customer health checks at restaurants, as Washington ranked as the 18th-least restrictive.

California lifted its statewide "stay at home" order Monday, after the study was done, meaning Washington may rank as even more restrictive now.
