Wenatchee police responded to a report of a Wenatchee man drawing a semi-automatic handgun in a confrontation with his neighbor on Friday night. Jonathan Marvin, 21 years old, was arrested on first degree assault, threats to kill harassment and carrying a concealed weapon without permit.

Police responded to the weapons violation report at about 10:45 p.m. at an apartment complex in the north part of Wenatchee on Central Avenue.

According to Captain Edgar Reinfeld, upon arrival police took a statement from the reporting party that the neighbor, Marvin, had drawn the handgun, pointed it at the reporting party and said he was going to kill him. When police investigated, Marvin admitted to pulling the handgun out but not threatening or pointing the gun at the victim.

"It was about classic neighborhood dispute stuff in an apartment where they were being too noisy on a continuous basis," said Captain Reinfeld.
