The Wenatchee Pedstrian Bridge will be closing for maintenance next week.

According to the Chelan County PUD, a maintenance project will cause the closure of the pedestrian bridge just north of the Senator George Sellar Bridge from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm Wednesday.

The bridge spans the Columbia River and connects Wenatchee’s Worthen St. and East Wenatchee’s 9th St. The only detours for pedestrian traffic are the walkways on the Senator George Sellar and Richard Odabashian Bridges.

Signs will notify trail users of the closure.
