The initial numbers show 55% of the votes counted so far approved the Wenatchee High School bond. That is short of 60 percent needed to pass. Superintendent Brian Flones says he is disappointed.

Flones says he's not sure what they will do next if this result holds.

The next ballot count will be held Friday, April 27 at 3 p.m. There was just under 34% voter turnout.
