The Silver Alert for the 68 year old woman reported missing since last Thursday is called off after she was found injured off Blewett Pass. Lynnell McFarland was located Monday night about 100 feet from the highway after her vehicle lost control on an icy roadway and dropped down a 30 to 40 foot embankment.

According to Trooper John Bryant, Lynnell McFarland was taken to Central Washington Hospital by 7:30 Monday night, after crashing her car sometime after 5 pm last Thursday. McFarland was headed northbound on Blewett Pass when she stopped answering her phone Thursday, November 18.

"Last night, about 7:30 in Chelan County, about milepost 165, we got a report that a vehicle collision had occurred on November 18th," said Trooper Bryant. "We arrived on scene and discovered a vehicle down the embankment. [State patrol] assumed the roadway was icy, crossed the southbound lane and went over the embankment. It stopped in the pasture side about 100 feet from the roadway."

The crash is still under investigation.
