WVC TRIO Student Support Grant Renewed

Wenatchee Valley College TRIO Student Support Services received a grant renewal with roughly $1.3 million for the 2020-2025 grant cycle. The funds will be divided into roughly $260,000 annually over the five year cycle.

"TRIO supports academic services and support services for low income, first generation and disabled college students," said Libby Siebens, community relations executive director.

The program helps students remain in college, graduate and transfer to pursue four year degrees. The team involved in TRIO provides aid to 140 participants each year.
