Manson Crews Battle Two Blazes Sunday

Manson Fire crews responded to two fires Sunday, both put out in a short period of time.

The first was brush and grass in the area of Boyd Loop Road and Winesap Ave.

That fire grew to about an acre in size before it was in mop up.

The second was in a group of large logs that used to hold up the Mill Bay Resort sign by the boat launch and SR 150.

Crews broke up the logs and put the fire out.

There was no listed cause for either fire.
