Quincy Police Chief Announces National Night Out Cancellation for 2020

Quincy Police Chief Keith Seibert announced Tuesday that they are canceling the 2020 National Night Out event which is annually set for the first Tuesday in August.

In a Facebook post announcing the cancellation, Chief Seibert said they had discusses postponing the event, but the recent uptick in COVID-19 cases in the community, it was best to cancel for this year.

He said that they are looking forward to National Night Out 2021 as it is the true representation of community, bringing people together for food, music and a love for Quincy.
